My Dream Became Reality: The Beginning of a Luxury Travel Bag Collection

When I look back at how it all began, I realize that our collection of fouta and luxury travel bags wasn’t born simply from a passion for design or craftsmanship. It was born from a lifetime filled with choices, travels, deep connections, and shared dreams.

This is a story that begins with me and my daughter Charlotte.

I lived for years in the heart of Milan, until 2012, immersed in a city that gave us so much: beauty, inspiration, and energy. But inside me, there was a growing desire for something different. A slower rhythm, a deeper connection to what is authentic, natural, and true.

If someone had told me, years ago, that we would leave the elegant streets of Milan to live among the vibrant colors of Mexico City and the golden sunsets of Tulum, I probably would have smiled softly, without really believing it.

And yet, it happened.

We packed our bags, left behind what we knew, and opened ourselves to a new world, immersed in color. That’s how our story began: a journey filled with inspiration, freedom, and brave choices. 

A path that led us to imagine, create, and share something of our own. A project born from everything that shaped us: a love for beauty, a respect for craftsmanship, a passion for things made well, and above all, a love for life in its simplest and most essential form.

Today, that dream has a name: Gaëla Tulum.
And this is only the beginning.
